Join us on Thursday, February 7th, 2013 for the 13th Annual National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. Event contributors have teamed up in an effort to raise awareness and equip our community with the knowledge and tools to help fight the HIV/AIDS epidemic that continues to sweep through communities nationwide. The days events are as follows:

We will be passing out educational information about HIV/AIDS, stickers, buttons, wrist bands, free condoms, and more. FACE AIDS will be selling $5 beaded AIDS awareness pins as well. The funds raised for these pins go to the Partners in Health to support the delivery of high-quality health care in the communities in Rwanda.

Free and confidential HIV testing will be provided by Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services. Those who get tested will receive this years Black AIDS Day wristbands.
